What's Involved in the Classes?

You decide what you want to learn about the internet! Whether it is;

  • Sharing photos with family and friends abroad from your phone.
  • Watch that TV show you missed yesterday on the train or bus.
  • Talk to your iPad and write an email without having to type.
  • Explore the whole world on your flatscreen TV.
  • Booking flights and hotels online.
  • How to use St. Michael's Credit Union online services.

Or learn how to do anything else online, the decision of what you learn is up to you!

The classes are provided one-to-one tuition by Ursuline Convent transition year students in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The students from Ursulines got glowing reviews from participants last year. Also the students themselves thoroughly enjoyed the experience of sharing their tech savviness with the community.

Our new online services are on track to be available to members in the near future. We felt it was important that all members have the opportunity to use the service. So we have teamed up with Age Action to provide classes on computer and device use. Like most new experiences in life, they first appear daunting but once you familiarise yourself you wonder why you ever worried.

We have also created a Facebook event for the first class here and also more info on the classes can be found on the Age Action Website.
